Congratulations to Lachlan F., our February Star of the Month! Lachlan is a fourth grader at Providence Hall Elementary School in Herriman, Utah. Here is what Lachlan's teacher, Ms. Chapman, had to say about him:

Students learning to read are inherently motivated by their own successes as they become more fluent. When their teachers acknowledge this success as well, it often gives them an extra push to work even harder. These little boosts can help them improve even more quickly. 

Congratulations to Alex F., our December Star of the Month! Alex is a seventh grader at South Prairie Elementary School in Sycamore Illinois.

Aiden K. is our November Star of the Month. He is a fourth-grader at Tri County Public Schools, in DeWitt, Nebraska. Aiden’s teacher, Ms. Fehringer, is very proud of all the progress Aiden has made this year, and shared the following with us:

We are pleased to announce the winners of the fourth annual Read Live School of the Year Award. Students in the winning schools made great gains and substantially improved their reading skills despite the many challenges of the past school year.

Nathaly G. rounds out the year as our May Star of the Month. She is a third-grader at Hilltop Elementary in Mendham, NJ. Nathaly exceeded all her beginning of the year reading goals. She checked the box in fluency, comprehension, and stamina. Nathaly's teacher, Mrs. Kagan, is very proud of all the progress Nathly made this past year and shared the following with us.

Analia has worked her way to grade level reading this year. Analia is a 6th-grade student at Tenney Grammar School in Methuen, MA. Analia comes to class everyday ready to challenge herself and make the most of every minute. Analia may not be the fastest worker in her class but her consistent commitment to work is paying off. Here is what her teacher, Judy Rossi shared with us about Analia's reading success.
