Our November Star of the Month is Layne, a sixth grader at Tri County Elementary School in DeWitt, NE, who has made incredible progress with Read Live! Here is what his teacher, Mrs. Fehringer, wrote about him:

 "Over the past couple of years, I had the opportunity to work with Layne twice a week while he attended a private school. During our time together, we completed one Read Naturally lesson each week. I quickly noticed that Layne’s reading fluency was making great progress. His confidence and ability to read more smoothly and accurately continued to grow as he worked through each lesson. 

One of the things that stood out most to me was  Layne’s positive attitude toward reading. He never complained about having to complete a Read Naturally lesson and was always willing to give it his best effort. I also loved that the stories often gave us both an opportunity to learn something new! Layne’s consistent effort, growth in fluency, and positive attitude toward reading make him a wonderful choice for Read Naturally Star of the Month."
