Read Live: System requirements

The following are the minimum system requirements needed to use Read Live on your computer.

Operating System Support	Windows 10 and higher macOS 10.10 and higher Chrome OS
Browser Support	Google Chrome versions 80 and higher (recommended) Mozilla Firefox versions 67 and higher Microsoft Chromium-based Edge versions 79 and higher Apple Safari versions 11 and higher
Connection Speed	512 Kbps and faster (Dial-up connection is not supported.)
Resolution Support	1024 by 768 and higher
Audio including recorded timings	Ability to play audio (headphones preferred) Recorded timings require a microphone used with a supported browser. (Internet Explorer 11 and iPad do not currently support recordings.)
Browser Plug-ins	A PDF viewer Download Adobe Reader (free)
iPad Support	Requires Read Live iPad app Download from the iTunes App Store Requires Read Live subscription Requires iOS 11 or later (supported on iPad [5th generation], iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, and newer) Requires Internet connection, 512 Kbps or faster Headphones recommended for audio support Does not currently include support for recorded timings

On the Read Live Login page, click Check System Requirements.
Under Speaker Test, click Click here.
If you can hear the audio, click Yes. If you cannot hear the audio, click No.
Under Meets Requirement, look to see if any requirements have not been met. If you have requirements that have not been met, click Display system requirements for Read Live to determine what changes need to be made.
Once you have resolved the issues, click Check System Requirements again to recheck the requirements.
