We’re pleased to announce that our latest Read Live update, version 1.9, has gone live. This update is free for all Read Live clients and offers new content and a number of enhancements. If your students use the Read Naturally iPad app, you’ll need to download the latest version of the app from the iTunes App Store. Here are the main features of this update.

We're delighted to offer a series of free webinars on a range of literacy instruction topics. We will provide one free webinar each month, from January through May.

This month, we’d like to highlight what makes our Read Naturally GATE (Group and Tutoring Edition) program so successful. Instead of telling you ourselves, we decided to ask an expert out in the field.

Nearly 25 years ago, Read Naturally founder Candyce Ihnot and her daughter Jane wrote the first-ever Read Naturally stories. The hardworking mother-daughter pair did research at the local library and penned stories at the kitchen table. As they worked together to create content they were proud of, they never imagined that these stories would someday be enjoyed by students across the globe. But that’s exactly what happened.

We at Read Naturally know that “busy with limited budget” describes most, if not all teachers. That’s why we’ve worked hard over the years to develop top-notch digital tools for professional development. Many of these resources are free!

“What’s Read Naturally?” Have you ever asked this question? Has anyone ever asked you? We’ve spent 24 years answering it—and we’ve gotten pretty good at it. So what’s our best Read Naturally spiel? We turned it into three quick, informative YouTube videos.

Checking initial placement will help ensure optimal success. After a student completes between three and six stories, you need to check to make sure the student’s level and goal are appropriate. To make this task as straightforward as possible, our curriculum experts worked hard to put together detailed guidelines, available for free on our website.
