A new page on our website contains audio examples of the phonics sounds students will attempt during the Word Warm-ups Live Assessment and work on in the Word Warm-ups Live exercises. Educators may use this guide to help score the assessment and to understand pronunciation of the patterns in the exercises.

Read Naturally Encore II—Español is now available! Our popular print-based Spanish series has been updated from the original Masters Edition format to the new curriculum design developed for Read Naturally Encore II. Read Naturally Encore II—Español includes additional levels and updated content.

We’re so excited to be partnering with ClassLink, Clever and Google Classroom to provide Read Live students with a single sign-on option. A single sign-on via ClassLink, Clever or Google Classroom saves time and eliminates the need to enter and store multiple passwords. The latest Read Live updates add integrations for ClassLink and Clever to our already established Google Classroom option.

Word Warm-ups Live develops accuracy and automaticity in decoding using a modified version of the Read Naturally Strategy. Students work on short audio-supported phonics exercises for as little as 10 minutes a day as reading warm-ups, or up to 30 minutes a day as an intervention.

We recently added a second level of content to Word Warm-ups Live, making the program even better as a phonics intervention. This new content also makes Word Warm-ups Live an excellent tool to support classroom phonics instruction for students up to third grade. Check out the Word Warm-ups Live Basics webinar to learn more about this powerful phonics program.

The 2021-22 school year is fast approaching, and our curriculum and development teams are hard at work making important improvements to Read Live. We’ve added several features and enhancements in the past few weeks. Here are some of the most important updates in the most recent Read Live releases:

This past week, we released the latest version of our award-winning One Minute Reader program. Designed specifically for parents to use at home, One Minute Reader is a fun and effective way to develop critical reading skills.

The year was 1991. The Dow Jones Industrial Average topped 3,000 for the first time. Madonna, Janet Jackson, and Whitney Houston were battling for the top spot on the pop charts. The Soviet Union was dissolving, and the Cold War was over. The future was bright, and anything was possible.

It’s time for the annual Read Naturally Top 10 Blog Posts! The 2020-21 school year brought many challenges for teachers, students, and parents. Our goal at Read Naturally is to support educators and help students make great progress. In the past year, we’ve added three additional programs to Read Live and introduced several new features to support distance learning. As you can see, these new programs and features dominated the list for top blog posts for the 2020-21 school year. The introduction of Word Warm-ups Live and phonics-related content was especially popular. But what was at the top of the list? You’ll have to keep reading to find out!

A free, self-paced online course is now available for One Minute Reader, the newly released independent reading program included with Read Live.
