Teach your students how to do the steps of the Word Warm-ups Live exercises by combining this five-part video series, A Student's Guide to Word Warm-ups Live, with hands-on experience. In each video, a student demonstrates a different set of Word Warm-ups Live steps. After watching a video, have each student log in to Word Warm-ups Live and complete the steps demonstrated in the video.

You must enroll, license, and place your students before showing these videos to them.
The following document provides instructions for setting up students and using the videos to teach them the steps.

Implementing "A Student's Guide to Word Warm-ups Live"

 Video Part 1: Word List Exercises (5:49) 

The students watch this video, and then each student completes the demonstrated activities:  logging in to Word Warm-ups Live, Introduction exercise, the Look, Listen & Respond step of a word-list exercise, and logging out. When all students are logged out, show Video Part 2.

 Video Part 2: Word List Exercises (5:44)

After the students watch this video, each student logs in to Word Warm-ups Live and completes the demonstrated activities: Practice Word List step, Spelling step, and Phontastic wait-time activity. When all students are playing Phontastic, show Video Part 3. 

 Video Part 3: Word List Exercises (3:40)

After watching this video, each student plays Phontastic until the teacher logs in to work through the Pass Word List step with the student. When all the students have passed the word-list exercise, show Video Part 4.

 Video Part 4: Story Exercises (5:29)

After the students watch this video, each student logs in to Word Warm-ups Live and completes the demonstrated activities for a story exercise: Read Along step, Practice step, Quick Quiz step, and the Phontastic wait-time activity. When all students are playing Phontastic, show Video Part 5.

 Video Part 5: Story Exercises (2:44)

After watching this video, each student plays Phontastic until the teacher logs in to work through the Pass Story step with the student.
